I Can't Believe This?
I got a ticket for supposedly running a red light. The thing is I was coming to the light and it turned yellow. I didn't speed up, I just let my car go through. I saw the cops parked talkin to each other as always. Unlike them I didn't turn on my siren go through and turn it off. But I saw the cops (ONE REASON NOT TO RUN IT) & then my daughter was in the car (ANOTHER REASON) Anyways, she said, "You know i pulled you over for running the red light back there?" & I said "The light wasn't red it was yellow." & she said "Ok" and took my license, registration, and insurance. Dis b-word came back with my stuff and gave me a ticket and was like "it's for running the red light and I gotta go to court for not admitting to guilt." WoW o_O
Will my insurance go up?
Is there a way I can pay it and not go to court?
Will I have to take a class?
If I was told by a judge to not get in any trouble again in the next 6 months (unsupervised probation) will this do something?
You will have to show up traffic court to enter a plea. If your previous encounter with a judge had anything to do with your vehicle, probably. You want to go to court though, even just pleading no contest and telling the judge your side of the story, they could very well reduce the fine.
