Good Style Boat for fresh water use and saltwater use?
I'm looking to buy a used boat, but am trying to decide what style to get. open bow, Center Console etc.... I will be using the boat primarily for saltwater fishing in the northesast, but also woud like something that i can use for water skiing in local lakes. boat will need to be towed a lot.
the things im' looking for are:
stability in the ocean (not deep sea, but far enough out where i can do some fishing)
easy to launch/recover from different ramps
low cost, looking to spend a max of 3500
outboard motor
also, what year boat do you think i could get for my price range?
A 17' Chris Craft 170 ( Bow rider with a deep vee hull ) good for any waters, goes here, British Columbia, for about $2500 and $3000.
Inboard though.
