Factory Fresh
Was there any general rule for driving brand new car that is fresh out of factory?
I remember someone telling me that u don;t drive a brand new car over 60mph for couple of hundreds of miles at the beginning. then u can do whatever u want to.
Am I mistaken?
it helps to seat the valves if you drive on a highway for at least 100 miles by alternating your speed between 40-60 mph. go 55 for 20 minutes, then 45 for 10 mins then 60 for 20 mins, etc.
